About Little Uni
little uni is the collaboration of long time friends and designers Julie Crosson and Andrea Needlman. Andrea and Julie met 10 years ago as graphic designers working at a design firm in Chicago. Julie was very crafty, and made handmade cards and gifts adorned with her funky illustrations. Andrea and Julie always talked about starting a business together one day.
Several years later when Andrea had twins, Mira and Will, Julie brought over personalized tees that she had made for the babies. Andrea had been having difficulty finding clothes for Will that were not decorated with baby blue sailboats, camouflage, or baseballs, and clothes for Mira in colors besides pink. Once Andrea saw Julie's gifts, she knew that this was the perfect time for them to start their collaboration. Julie got married a few weeks later, and as soon as she came back from her honeymoon, little uni was born!
little uni carries a hip, modern line of baby tees, one-pieces, pants and hats with sewn appliqués. little uni tees are simple and sweet.
